Introduction

Jai Swaminarayan!

After long time, the first post! There is no better way to start it than sharing the wonderful poem of Gujarati.

હંસોની હાર મારે ગણવી હતી;

Description: This wonderful poem depicts the hidden desires of human beings. Poet expresses to hope to become free like a bird. Unlike others, he wants to create his own path without any guidelines. He really want to enjoy the nature and feels that its exploration would bring him close to nature. In this way, he would achieve freedom without getting trapped into obvious things in life. In deeper sense, he wants to relish the beauty of uncertainty. Human being has gone away from nature with the rapid industrialization. In cities also, many are alone in “jungle” of crowd and could not enjoy even the simplest pleasures in life. Proximity to nature makes feel being part of it.

For me, this poem signifies the much needed sense of self. Many desires and wishes are not obvious from standard point of view and defined boundaries. Many times, I want to achieve them but I got trapped into some problems or some self-imposed barriers. This writing symbolizes many things, I wish, I could achieve.
